New Mexico-Arizona Vacation
September 1995

In September, 1995, I took a trip to New Mexico and Arizona. Below are a few of the pictures.

Click on the small images to get larger ones. In the descriptions, numbers in parentheses are the dimensions of the image (pixels wide by pixels high) and the size of the file (in kilobytes).

This is a blossom on a barrel cactus. The photograph was taken near the City of Rocks, NM. (867x585; 53KB)

This photo was taken at the Gila Cliff Dwellings in NM. The ancient Indian ruins are not visible in this picture of the entrance to the canyon. (486x734; 90KB)

These photos were taken at White Sands National Monument, NM. Think of the grain as "artsy". (496x291; 36KB)

(604x342; 46KB)

(596x410; 19KB)

New Mexico is lousy with petroglyphs. This photo was taken at Three Rivers Petroglyphs National Monument, NM. (I've mucked with the color a bit to make the glyphs easier to see.) (483x328; 45KB)

This flower was found at Mesa Verde, NM. (590x394; 22KB)

This tree was hanging out at the Grand Canyon, AZ. (396x590; 53KB)
