I have downloaded the gsl module for use with Mike Nowak's Sitar package. It installed fine and imports fine on slsh with a require("gsl"); However, when I get into isis (and have SLANG_MODULE_PATH set to the appropriate location) and I run the same command I get the following: isis> require("gsl"); Error linking to /data/lacuna/slang/lib/slang/v2/modules/gsl-module.so: /data/lacuna/slang/lib/slang/v2/modules/gsl-module.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory /data/lacuna/slang/share/slsh/local-packages/gslcore.sl:7:_gslcore_import_module:Import Error 0 0 but... isis> !ls -l /data/lacuna/slang/lib/slang/v2/modules/gsl-module.so -rw-r--r-- 1 amitschang amitschang 357455 Oct 19 15:19 /data/lacuna/slang/lib/slang/v2/modules/gsl-module.so at first I though this was a problem following a symbolic link so I tried with a hard link and copy of the gsl-module.so.0.7.0 but neither worked, with same error. if anyone can shed some light on this situation it would be much appreciated. thanks, ~~Arik -- Arik Mitschang (617)496-7237 ----------------- HEAD CXC DSOPS ----------------- "sdrawkcab si siht" ---- You received this message because you are subscribed to the isis-users list.
