Hi Joy - 

After some experimentation, we found that the problem had already been
fixed in isis 1.4.  If you run the HEAD LAN isis from
/soft/isis/bin/isis, it should work.  (You may need to use a clean
environment which doesn't have ciao environment variables defined.)
