conf_map_counts and C statistics

Hi,

I would like to know if there is a way to have conf_map_counts
calculate the map with the Cash statistics instead of the chisqr statistics.
This should in principle be feasible, but I have the impression that
despite setting the Cash statistics ( set_fit_statistic ("cash"); ),
conf_map_counts still uses the chisqr statistics.
