Problem: Are individual shell's vignetting fits really
required? So far, all, 1&3, 4&6 have been fit.

Dependencies: Cal model details.

Reply: Probably not. If there are no other objections, I
will delete the single-shell extensions from the
		specified file format.
981022: objection: need individual shells, since get
weighted by grating effic. prior to summing.
		990219 Cal/MST are generating denser table - 70
angles, 1000 energies (and each shell?) ==> use
		  tables instead of model.

Due Date: 981023

Status: Pending update of DRAFT 1.1.
981018 Noted as an unresolved issue.
981215 Query to Cal: - still an open issue - carried
		       to v1.2
990308 defined as table for each shell.
		CLOSED.

Problem: Talked to Mark Bautz. They are modeling QE
uniformity. At low energy, all noise (i.e.,
uniform). At higher energies, looks like:

		   Q(E,x,y) = K * exp( -A(x,y) / lambda(E) )
A(x,y) are depeletion depths, large scale
		       fluctuations (> 32x32 pixels).
lambda(E) is absorption scale length; can
possibly be parameterized in this energy range
                       by a power-law.

Mark will deliver A(x,y), lambda(E) if we want.

But for BI: need empirical table of QE, as defined.

		 He will review the ICD.

Dependencies: IPI model and product delivery, use in exposure map
		code.

Reply: consider new format or function for FI
		non-uniformity.

Due Date: 981130

Status: pending review. If new product, not until v.1.3.
		981020 Included as unresolved issue.
		981215 held mtg w/ fkb, bm, jed 12/11; still pending;
		       fkb studying. carried into 1.2
990218 met w/ fkb (weeks ago) - abs. model will be
done. Revise ARD to be table of abs coef and
                       function.
		       carried to v1.2
		       revise in v1.3
990308 revised to depletion depth table and
		       functional.
		CLOSED.
