This can happen if you, for instance, ask for the 5 brightest lines of
neon in a wavelength region where there aren't any.

That's normal. It results from missing ancillary information in the
database (like the line labels), but the information isn't needed for
this application.     John could probably remove it, since it can fill
the screen.  We've talked about it, but it wasn't obvious what to do,
no critical, so we left it.
