Description: (taken from the file header:) This FITS file contains a 32 x 32-pixel image showing the spatial uniformity, relative to a reference CCD, of the quantum detection efficiency of an ACIS CCD that has true dimensions of 1024 x 1024 pixels. The value of each pixel in the image is the ratio of the number of counts accumulated in a 32 x 32-pixel subarray of the CCD being tested to the number of counts in the same subarray of the reference CCD. The data were obtained during subassembly calibration in the CCD Lab at the MIT Center for Space Research. Information about any corrections made for cosmetic defects and shadowing by the framestore covers is given in the FITS headers of the raw uniformity maps. This map was produced in IDL. A more detailed description of the contents is given in the Relative Efficiency Measurements section of the ACIS Calibration Report. Created by: ACIS/MIT group. Creation date: 1998-09-18 is listed in file header. See: -
