Hello I can see on Google that I am not the only one with this problem, but none of the solutions seem to help me. I get, when I launch isis, after running the installation script: *** isis initialization failed; using ISIS_SRCDIR = /usr/local/isis/1.6.2 Error linking to /usr/local/isis/1.6.2/lib/modules/pgplot-module.so: dlopen(/usr/local/isis/1.6.2/lib/modules/pgplot-module.so, 10): Symbol not found: _cpgconf Referenced from: /usr/local/isis/1.6.2/lib/modules/pgplot-module.so Expected in: flat namespace in /usr/local/isis/1.6.2/lib/modules/pgplot-module.so Traceback: import /usr/local/isis/1.6.2/share/pgplot.sl:1:<top-level>:Import Error Traceback: evalfile Traceback: evalfile *** isis initialization failed We tried installing pgplot again, and ensured it was in my path. We have tried running the installation manually instead, giving the --with-pgplotinc and --with-pgplotlib configure option, to insure isis looks the correct place. We also tried installing a new version of Heasoft, in case there was a compatibility issue, and to make sure all the same compilers were in use (with 'we', I mean me and our it-supporters, who I have made slightly frustrated by now). I run Snow Leopard version 10.6.8. Attached is the install.log, from the last attempt, if that helps. -- Kind Regards Mette Friis ---- You received this message because you are subscribed to the isis-users list.
