II Peg spectra, with scaled Iso-Ion, Iso-Thermal APED Models
In order to examine and review my II Pegasi (ObsID 1451)
line-identifications, I used ISIS to generate single-ion spectra at
the temperature of maximum emissivity. I then applied the instrumental
response to each model to produce a counts spectrum and wrote them to
an ASCII table (also with ISIS). I then used IDL to convert to FITS
binary tables (linked below), to read my line-ID tables, and to make
the plots below, which show the II Peg counts (smoothed by a 3-pixel
FWHM gaussian), and the scaled model counts, for both HEG and MEG (as
labeled). (Note that the plots are logarithmic on the y-axis.)
Triangles and vertical dotted lines mark the positions of lines
identified with the ion plotted.
These are the model spectra, in format similar to the CXC PHA Type
II spectral format. (The "rowid" column contains the ion.)
