When you installed isis, did you try running the regression
tests?  For example, try this:

   cd isis-1.6.2-27
   make check

Do all the regression tests run successfully?
If not, then something is wrong with your installation.

If the regression tests run successfully, then that indicates
that isis is correctly installed and that the basic
functionality works as expected.

To resolve the problem, I'll need a bit more detail.
Can you send me a short script, plus any necessary data files,
so that I can reproduce the problem?
