isis install problem

Hi,

I'm trying to get isis 1.4.9 running on a recent MacBook Pro running OS
10.5. As far as I can tell, the build was OK. Upon startup, I get this
error message:

*** isis initialization failed; using ISIS_SRCDIR = /usr/local/isis/1.4.9

Error linking to /usr/local/isis/1.4.9/lib/modules/pgplot-module.so:
dlopen(/usr/local/isis/1.4.9/lib/modules/pgplot-module.so, 10): Symbol
not found: ___CFConstantStringClassReference
  Referenced from: /usr/local/isis/1.4.9/lib/modules/pgplot-module.so
  Expected in: flat namespace

*** isis initialization failed

I'm not quite sure why it can't link to that library. Maybe there's
another library it wants to link to that it's not getting? I don't know
what "flat namespace" is.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Maurice
