I am currently visiting MIT for 3 months to work as part of the LIGO group. Specifically, the optomechanically induced transparency work that is currently ongoing. I am a final year PhD student at the University of Glasgow where I have been exploring the dynamics and control of radiation pressure dominated, suspended optical cavities in the 100g regime.
