Zahra Khan
Assistant Project Engineer Technical StaffZahra completed her Masters at the AeroAstro (Course 16) department in 2008. Her research focused on entry, descent and landing systems for human missions to Mars. Since graduating, she has worked on the LADEE (Lunar Atmsopheric and Dust Environment Explorer) mission at NASA Ames as a system engineering intern. For the past several years, she has been working on air traffic control research in the Boston area. She is excited to be returning to working on space systems at MIT. Her technical interests include: space system architecture, space system engineering, sustainable space exploration and atmospheric flight mechanics.
