11th Marcel Grossmann Meeting
on General Relativity

ASTROPHYSICS OF NEUTRON STARS AND BLACK HOLES:

Observations
-High Energy Astrophysics / Space Missions / X-ray Astronomy

Chairs: E. Pian (Trieste/Italy) & Norbert S. Schulz (Cambridge/USA)

Berlin - July 23 - 29, 2006

Session dates: July 27 & 28 2006

Updated (July 14) APO1/2 schedule

MG11 Call For Registration and Abstract Submission

First Announcement

Scope:Present recent results and developments in the observation of neutron stars, black holes, and their environments. The session focusses on astrophysics in the high energy domain with emphasis on X-ray observations from the Chandra X-ray Observatory and the XMM-Newton X-ray Telescope. The Marcel Grossmann Meetings take place every three years and bring together a large number of scientists to discuss recent advances in gravitation, general relativity, field theories, experimental tests including relativistic aspecte of high energy astrophysics. This is a great opportunity to present and discuss recent astrophysical reseach results with strong implications to general relativity directly with the relevant community.

The deadline for abstract submission and registration has passed.
