C-LXH-3D-2.002 hsi106863 i0-i10 dsd Dave Davis's analysis of the MEG mosaic gives E/dE limit for MEG of 1300 (error range 1000 to 2200) and an equivalent grating-only cross-dispersion alignment blur of order 1.6 arc minutes.

C-HXH-AL-4.002, C-IXH-RF-1.005 hsi106860, hsi106856 dd,dph HETG Alignment preliminary results for HETG Shell 1 and HETG Shell 6. The azimuthal profiles for Shell_with_HETG / Shell_no_grating measured at XRCF is roughly in agreement with the subassembly X-GEF predictions. The XRCF values have been scaled for better comparison (by 1/4 and 1/2.75 for shells 1 and 6 respectively.)

HETG hardware at XRCF
An Ultra, zalgar, connected to the ASC data system network is on the HETG 3rd floor desk. In Pinky and the Brain the alien character Zalgar tells Brain "Through clever use of e-mail I've lured you here to eat your cerebrum."

HETG also has provided an IPX (rowland.msfc.nasa.gov) w/9Gb drive and DAT. This system is attached to the internet to allow out-of-XRCF communication. It was setup at MIT by our guru (and photographer!) Kenton.
