Figure 3.  The C-K region for the source XTE J1118+48.  The data are plotted in 0.025 A bins in order to sample the LETG resolution (0.05 A).  The top panel shows the S3 data, from the -1 order and the bottom panel shows the S4 data, from +1 order (note error in the figure).  The S3 detector is a BI chip, so the average QE is much larger.  Note that both data sets agree that the data should be shifted by 0.5 eV relative to the model.
