Chandra Astrophysics Institute (CAI): Summer 2005, School Year 2005-2006; High school students and math and science educators learn astrophysics in order to undertake x-ray astronomy research projects with MKI researchers and science educators.

Past:

Chandra After-School Astronomy Project (ASAP): Spring 2005; Afterschool professionals learn to use robotic telescopes and accompanying curriculum to engage middle and high school students.

Astrobiology Professional Development Program: Fall 2004 - Spring 2005; Middle and high school educators practice inquiry-based learning of an interdisciplinary approach to science.

HETE Summer Institute: Summer 2004; Middle and high school educators align teaching about the structure and evolution of the universe to Massachusetts science content learning standards.

Chandra Science Summer Program: Summer 2004; High school students learn about astronomy and science careers related to the discoveries of the Chandra X-ray Observatory.

MIT/Chandra After-School Astronomy Project (ASAP): Spring 2004; High school students learn astronomy in order to complete an observing project undertaken with robotic telescopes.

Chandra/GEAR UP Summer Program: Summer 2003; High school students learn science related to Chandra at the Museum of Science in Boston.
