- Astronomy in the City, Winter 2007 ,
our community science showcase, will take place on Friday,
December 7, 2007! Click the link for more information...
- The Youth Astronomy Apprenticeship
(YAA) program is an NSF-funded out-of-school time (OST) initiative
that promotes science learning among urban, underrepresented
youth and their communities. Our MIT YAA fellows and returning
Youth Assistants are presenting their outreach activities
around the Boston area, and preparing for the YAA After-School
Program, starting in February 2008.
- The Boston-area Chandra Astrophysics
Institute students are well into their mentored x-ray astronomy
investigations, and will be sharing preliminary results with
friends and family in December 2008. Check out this article about CAI in the Lynn Item newspaper!
